Ask An Expert | The 5 Most Important Lessons From Store Traffic Data In 2023

Traffic tells all. Nothing gives you a better sense of what is working versus what is not. So Placer.ai’s SVP of Marketing Ethan Chernofsky is back once again to look back on 2023 and to share with us the biggest lessons learned from retail traffic data as we head into the holidays.

Chris and Anne go in depth with Ethan as he discusses the major trends he has identified in 2023, including:

  • Whether or not the pandemic has created new customer profiles and shopping patterns
  • Why great product still matters above all else
  • If convenience is coming at the expense of excitement
  • The potential and challenges facing the promise of Retail Media
  • And, of course, what segments of retail are winning and losing, from c-stores to grocery and dollar stores, and what it all says about the future
