Chris, let's go to the lightning round.
Speaker A:Let's close it up here.
Speaker A:Omni Talk is heading out to cover New York Fashion Week right after this podcast.
Speaker A:Chris, but most importantly, what is your favorite fashion related movie?
Speaker B:Oh, man.
Speaker B:The easy answer here is Devil Wears Prada.
Speaker B:But I, believe it or not, I actually think that movie is really overrated.
Speaker B:I haven't seen it in a while.
Speaker B:I need to watch again, but I think it's really overrated.
Speaker B:I'm guessing I'm going to get barbs for that one.
Speaker A:The next one's coming out, so you better watch it soon.
Speaker B:I know, and without Adrian Grenier too, which I'm super, super excited about because he was terrible in that movie.
Speaker B:I'm going with Zoolander Anne because Zoolander is such a setup of the fashion industry and Anne I can respect anyone that can read minds.
Speaker A:Oh my God, it's.
Speaker A:That is such a good movie.
Speaker A:It really is the.
Speaker A:One of the best fashion movies.
Speaker A:My favorite was the Isaac Mizrahi documentary.
Speaker A:I really loved that.
Speaker B:In the 90s.
Speaker A:Or something.
Speaker B:Documentary.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:I didn't think documentaries were, were in, in, in, in play.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:I'd have.
Speaker B:Oh, for sure.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:Documentaries are at play.
Speaker B:I can't think of a fashion documentary either, other than like the Abercrombie and Fitch salacious documentary I watched.
Speaker A:Hey, that's in the consideration set to whatever you want.
Speaker A:Whatever you want.
Speaker B:That, that doesn't beat Zoolander.
Speaker B:The walk off between Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson is an all time classic.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Ariana Grande's Eternal Sunshine tour tickets will start to go on sale this week.
Speaker B:On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rank Ariana Grande's talent level?
Speaker B:I'm curious where you're going to come down on this.
Speaker A:I think she's an 11.
Speaker A:I mean, she is, she's incredibly talented.
Speaker A:I'm not her biggest fan by any means, but I don't think anybody can deny her talent.
Speaker A:Triple threat.
Speaker A:Like smart businesswoman, great actress, great singer.
Speaker A:I think she, I think she's got it all.
Speaker A:And, and yeah, I mean is.
Speaker A:She can command the, the prices per ticket.
Speaker A:We'll just say that she's, she's charging right now.
Speaker B:So Ayanna Grant is the tp.
Speaker B:She's your tp.
Speaker B:She's the total package.
Speaker B:And that's amazing.
Speaker A:Yeah, I would say so.
Speaker A:I'd say so.
Speaker A:She's.
Speaker A:She's doing well for herself.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker A:What, what do you think of her talent level?
Speaker B:Oh, I, I definitely go eight or nine.
Speaker B:I Think she's.
Speaker B:I mean, when I saw her in Wicked, she crushed Wicked, and so that's a whole nother game.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Yeah, I think.
Speaker B:I think she's very talented.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:I go 11.
Speaker B:11 to me is like Michael Jackson.
Speaker B:Like, there's only so many people.
Speaker A:Oh, yeah, okay.
Speaker A:Okay, so I'll temporary.
Speaker A:I'll.
Speaker A:I'll bring her down to a 10 then.
Speaker A:But she's.
Speaker A:She's not an 11, but a 10.
Speaker A:We'll.
Speaker A:We'll give her a 10.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:Maybe not Michael Jackson, because I don't know if you can still say Michael Jackson.
Speaker B:So maybe like Elvis Presley or something like that or, you know.
Speaker A:Okay, she's gonna go in the hall of fame.
Speaker A:She'll be in the hall of fame someday.
Speaker A:I think we'll give her that accolade.
Speaker A:All right, Chris.
Speaker B:I won't ask you if she's more talented than Taylor Swift, though, ad.
Speaker B:Because that could be a whole can of worms that we don't want to open up.
Speaker A:I mean, yes, that is going to open up an entire new can of worms.
Speaker A:And are we talking vocal talent?
Speaker A:Are we talking writing?
Speaker A:Like.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:All right, Chris, question number three.
Speaker A:According to the Wall Street Journal, OpenAI is using its artificial intelligence tools to help produce a feature length animated movie called Critters that will take less than nine months to make and less than $30 million to create.
Speaker A:They will be debuting this film at the Cannes Film Festival.
Speaker A:Cannes Film Festival.
Speaker A:You've been seeing a lot of movies lately, but I want to know, would you pay to see an AI generated movie in the theaters?
Speaker B:Yeah, we.
Speaker B:We.
Speaker B:Yes, I would.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:But I would.
Speaker B:Yeah, I have no problem with that.
Speaker B:As long as it's good content and it's been creatively put together.
Speaker B:I think it's just a new form of artistic expression, honestly, at the end of the day.
Speaker B:But yeah, I will say $30 million, when that's the line of demarcation.
Speaker B:That seems super freaking expensive to me.
Speaker B:Like, that's.
Speaker A:Apparently, that's like minuscule dollars for a movie production budget.
Speaker B:Wow, that's crazy to me.
Speaker B:I'm surprised they can't get that much, much lower.
Speaker B:But, yeah, I'd be interested to watch it and see what it is.
Speaker B:Yeah, I don't have a problem with it, do you?
Speaker A:No, I mean, but the thing that I like about this is they're still using artists to create the original character.
Speaker A:Like human artists to create the original character.
Speaker A:They're using talent to do the voiceover of these things.
Speaker A:So there still is something contributing to that production budget, but now it sounds like they're just going to be able to take that one image and then make that whole movie out of that one image.
Speaker B:It takes humans to create the final product, you know, at the end, so.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:All right, last one.
Speaker B:We're giving a lightning round a new definition today, and.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:The New Orleans Film Society is set to partner with the Broad Theater to present an exclusive advanced screening of Spinal Tap.
Speaker B:The End continues in late October.
Speaker B:And this is funny because when was the last time you used the phrase dialed up to 11?
Speaker B:I think you actually just used it not that long.
Speaker A:I mean, I didn't.
Speaker A:I didn't dial it up to 11 for my answer for Ariana Grande, but I basically said 11 because of this movie.
Speaker A:It allowed us to give an 11 on a 1 to 10 scale.
Speaker A:But I feel like we use this monthly on the show, so.
Speaker A:Spinal Tap, thank you for.
Speaker A:For your contributions.
Speaker B:Yeah, I can't wait to see that movie.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:I saw him on Jimmy Kimmel the other night.
Speaker B:It was great.
